This project involved designing a comprehensive guidebook aimed at non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to help them understand and navigate opportunities for cooperation with the Municipality of Krakow. The guidebook serves as a practical compendium of knowledge, particularly for NGOs with little experience or those just starting out. It provides essential information on establishing an NGO, securing funding, and forming partnerships with the City of Krakow, with a strong focus on real-world solutions and the benefits of collaboration between NGOs and local government.
The design was created to be both informative and visually engaging. The cover features a playful, modern geometric style, with hidden references to “NGO Kraków” embedded within the shapes, creating an interactive and thoughtful design element. This geometric approach also sets the tone for the rest of the guidebook, offering a contemporary yet professional look that aligns with Krakow's visual identity.
The chapter pages are uniquely designed, each one using a different color while maintaining cohesion across the entire document. This color-coded system helps guide the reader through the publication, making it easy to find specific sections while also enhancing the overall user experience. Icons were created to represent key themes, helping to break down complex information and make it more accessible. The typesetting and layout were carefully crafted to ensure clarity and legibility, with well-structured footnotes, bullets, and a table of contents for easy navigation. Important links and additional information were highlighted throughout the guidebook, ensuring that readers can easily access relevant resources.
The guidebook was fully prepared for print, ensuring that the final product was not only functional but also visually appealing.
