Client: Feisty Lobster
The project focuses on developing a complete branding identity for Feisty Lobster, a family-owned seafood diner specializing in reasonably priced dishes made from fresh seafood sourced directly from the diner’s own fishing boats. With a focus on take-out orders, the branding has been designed to be bold, versatile, and easily recognizable across various customer touchpoints.
The logo design has incorporated playful lobster in circural shape, reflecting the lively and approachable nature of the diner. The color palette has drawn inspiration from the red of a lobster shell, complemented by white and blue stripes that evoke the sea and create a sense of freshness and coastal charm. This nautical color scheme has been carried throughout all branding materials, ensuring a cohesive visual identity that connects to the diner’s theme.
The design has extended to several key elements, including the diner’s food and drinks menu, business cards, and labels for homemade drinks. The menu has been structured for clarity and visual appeal, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Business cards have reflected the diner’s warm, approachable vibe, while custom labels for homemade drinks have highlighted the diner’s focus on simple composition and natural ingredients.
For take-out, the branding has been applied to paper and cardboard packaging, wrappers, paper bags, and even wet wipes packaging, all designed with consistency in mind. Stickers featuring illustrations representing specific meals have also been created, offering a fun, personalized touch. Additionally, a sunbed print pattern and branded napkins have extended the design into every aspect of the diner’s customer experience.
Overall, the goal has been to create a brand identity that feels authentic to the diner’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and community, while ensuring the design is both functional and visually engaging for take-out customers.
